3. Oracle Application Developer / Technical Analyst
Overall responsibility:
The primary responsibility will be to analyze the requested change for impact to the Oracle
instances, in accordance with the documented standards and facilitate change to flow through the
different instances. The analyst will review the technical changes completed by Developers I Super
Users to ensure that the changes are in accordance with the Emerson Standards and not impacting
the Global Oracle E-Business solutions.

FUNCTION:
The successful candidate will be working as part of a global team of individuals whose responsibility will
be to improve the performance of poorly written or poorly performing applications code in Oracle i-Store
and Java. This will include existing code as well as new code which has not yet been promoted to
production.
NATURE AND SCOPE
The candidate will monitor and improve the performance of poorly performing Oracle i-Store and Java
code objects in production and development instances used by Emerson Process Management. The
candidate will also have roles and responsibilities for monitoring code development and ensure that
programmers are adhering to the documented standards maintained by ITSS and Emerson Process.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILIIJES;
1. Provide guidance to other developers in how to avoid performance issues in their code.

8. Advanced Pricing Analyst
Overall Responsibility
The Oracle E-Business Techno-Functional Analyst will report to the Advance Pricing Manager and will focus
on the techno-functional support, maintenance and enhancement of Oracle's Advanced Pricing module. This
role is 50% functional and 50% technical.
2-4 years of functional knowledge of Oracle 11i Advanced Pricing concepts is required. Knowledge of
Intercompany invoicing, Transfer Pricing, Vendavo Deal Manager and Advanced Pricing/Configurator
integration is preferred.
Basic technical knowledge required is PLISQL, Form Personalization, Oracle APis, Workflow and AOL objects
(Concurrent Programs, Value sets, etc). Working knowledge of QP, OM, INV and CZ tables and the ability to
debug or create small packages is also required.
Responsibilities include:
• Troubleshooting and resolving Advanced Pricing issues reported by the various Business
Units and/or World Areas
• Loading key Pricing data (Price List lines, Modifiers, Factor Lists, Qualifiers, Contexts and

 Responsible for analysis of requirements and use of an ETL tool for large scale data movement. Key
activities include creating mappings and processes, tuning databases and ETL for performance,
system enhancement, issue resolution and production monitoring.
 Work closely with Business Intelligence Analysts, DBA/Architect and OBIEE Developers to create
optimally tuned functionality.
 Actively participate in requirements, design and analysis sessions to ensure effective ETl strategy
 Understand business requirements from Data Warehouse I ETL perspective, translate to data mapping
 Upfront analysis to profile source data for representations, formats, gaps and necessary
transformations
